I have been reading up on clay pot irrigation systems. They supposedly are better for water conservation than just about every other type of irrigation, even drip. Apparently, it is a system the Egyptians used and has resurfaced in the permaculture world. I will be getting some of these set up for our fruit trees. I thought of this because I was seeing your video on watering plants every day.

Here is a good blog on it:

Robert, perhaps we should have a thread on water, maybe expand the well section and include irrigation, rain collecting, cisterns etc. ??

Those Egyptian s knew a thing or two..

Maybe add those titles to the ponds section, so it is like water, ponds, irrigation etc.
